The best way to enjoy the magic of Cap Ferrat is to stroll the Promenade Maurice Rouvier, from the Royal Riviera Hotel - Beaulieu Baie de Formis side of the Cap, an easy kilometre, to the beach and yatching harbour of St Jean.
On both sides of the Peninsula of the ferret tail shaped Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat are public beaches of which anyone can have access and swim and hang around even though you are not staying in the luxe private villas or the luxe hotels and inns in the Island, provided that you have a car in going here and can park along the public parking along the beach areas and public beaches are composed of coarse grayish white sands and small rocks and the azure seas and shallow waves. the public beaches here are Cro de Peï Pin, Paloma Beach, Passable Beach.
